Poster Design
Background
The objective of this design was to create a poster design from another piece of media, in this case for the cover of the video game Red Dead Redemption 2. The title has acclaimed critical success and is loved by many in the gaming community.
Process
An image of a horse was traced and transformed into a silhouette. The setting of the title is a western video game, so a horse seemed appropriate to be one of the stand out points of this poster.
This illustrated sunset takes on a new style to the one depicted in the original artwork, from a rough style to a more minimalistic approach.
Final Poster
The poster depicts the horse in the center as the main focus with the title of the product right above, contrasting with the orange sunset helps the title to stand out to let people know what the poster is about.
